Rest In Peace Mohammad Yatim ♥

Mohammed Yatim dies in power pole smash at Condell Park THE YOUNG man killed in a high speed crash at Condell Park has been named as Mohammed Yatim. The 21-year-old man was the passenger in a Honda sedan which crashed into a bus shelter on Marian Rd, just after 9pm. The driver of the car, Mohammed El Kassir remains in Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition with major head injuries. Mr Yatim's brother Hussein said "the good die young". "He was a popular, loved kid who didn't deserve to go this way," Hussein said. Police believe the driver was travelling at high speed when the accident happened. The impact of the collision wrapped the car around a telegraph pole. Police are investigating whether street racing was a factor in the accident. Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports a high-performance Honda Integra Type R had lost control on Marion St, slammed into a bus shelter and then landed in a power pole about 9.20pm. Emotional friends and relatives of the pair gathered at the scene about 10pm last night after hearing about the accident. Many of them ended up following the ambulance to the hospital once Mr El Kassir - who was seriously injured - was released from the wreckage. The road was closed for several hours last night as officers from the Crash Investigation Unit tried to piece together what caused the vehicle to lose control. Video Rating: 4 / 5
